How Can You Share the Truth?

September 9th, 2007 by Spud Oregon

There’s a question on AskOxford.com which asks whether a tomato is a fruit or a vegetable. The answer states…

The confusion about ‘fruit’ and ‘vegetable’ arises because of the differences in usage between scientists and cooks. Scientifically speaking, a tomato is definitely a fruit.

The tomato, though technically a fruit, is often used as a vegetable.

So a tomato is the fruit of the tomato plant, but can be used as a vegetable in cooking.

While the world still assumes Al Qaeda were responsible for the 9/11 attacks on the U.S, architects, engineers and scientists are arguing that it had to be an “inside job”. Here is a 2-hour presentation by architect Richard Gage at the University of Manitoba earlier in 2007. He represents the group Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. If you are unable to view this video, you can see it here.

Okay, so that’s a hugely convincing case against the official conspiracy theory fed to us by the mass media and the U.S. government, and if you agree with what you saw, then it is time to do something about it.

How bloggers can share the truth

Google Search for 9/11 1. Link to the Truth Movement

When I last checked, five out of the top 10 Google search results for the term “9/11″ were sites supporting the truth movement, i.e. not the Osama Bin Laden story. As bloggers, we know that it takes an awful lot of backlinks to get on the front page of Google, so it’s clear that these sites have tremendous support. When you consider the opinion polls show 49% of New Yorkers believe the government had a hand in the 9/11 events, it becomes less surprising that the search results are so mixed. You can show your support for the truth movement (people seeking a new investigation into the attacks) by linking to websites such as Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice.

2. Blog about 9/11

It really is a case of the mass media versus the people. We need to get our voices heard, and blogging provides a platform to do so. While some may still consider “911 conspiracy theorists” to be whacky, you can’t deny the sheer volume of people arguing that the official story itself is no more than a conspiracy theory. In other words, the more people that talk about it, the more credibility it gets.

3. Leave a comment

Search for “911 conspiracy” on Google News Search or Google Blog Search and you’ll get the latest articles mentioning those keywords. Many of these articles, including some news sites, allow comments. So you can either show your support if you agree with the author, or leave a comment to the contrary if you disagree.

4. YouTube voting

There are literally tons of videos supporting the demolition theory on YouTube.com, and you have the power to rate them with 1-5 stars, leave a comment, and give a thumbs up or down to other comments. Don’t think for a second that this goes unnoticed. A BBC video of a reporter announcing the collapse of World Trade Center 7 twenty minutes before it actually fell (you could see the building standing in the live shot behind her) was eaten up by the YouTube crowd. The BBC felt it had to respond and released a blog post explaining that in the confusion of the day’s events, reporters may have made mistakes, but that can’t be verified because “We no longer have the original tapes of our 9/11 coverage (for reasons of cock-up, not conspiracy).”

Is 9/11 a fruit or a vegetable?

We are quickly coming to the conclusion that 9/11 was an “inside job” as more evidence comes to light, such as the scientific findings of physicist Steven Jones, and the testimonies from New York city firefighters. Still, with so many people in the “vegetable” camp, Wikipedia is at a loss to descibe the true events of that day…

Regardless of your position, however, the victims of 9/11 and their families will be very much in our thoughts this week.

Well well, Mr Oregon… I didn’t see that coming. But if Firefox vs Explorer can cause as much hoo-har as it did, I can’t wait to watch this space!

To fan your flames, my thoughts re 911 echo yours. Though whatever the absolute truth is (and even in the unlikely event that Al Qaeda did bring down those two iconic errections) the events following 911 that have left American kids dying every day in Iraq are a smoke and mirror trick of biblical proportion.

Anyways, nice job dude… I know I’ve read on this very site that it’s good to be controversial when blogging, but sticking your neck out on an issue like this shows that you’re not only called Spud, you’re carrying a couple of them as well.

Thanks for your support aussie, but I don’t expect to gain any readers from this. I’m more likely to lose them!

That was a very interesting post and I hate to get into the conspiracy talk but people have to realize no matter what it was, we lost so many lives that day and they should be in our thoughts on every 9/11 anniversary.

I couldn’t agree more Tom. Even though the numbers pale in comparison to the 200,000+ civilian deaths the world pauses to remember on the 6th and 9th of August, it’s still a sickening amount of lives lost.

2007-09-13 02:58:47

oops… apologies to Spud’s US-based readers, I just asked my ex-Californian gf about Aug 6 and 9 and it seems those dates weren’t generally big days of remembrance on the US calendar.
If you’re in that boat, it might be best to stay blissfully unaware of how the 200,000+ civilians died horribly. Needless to say, it boiled down to someone figuring their cause was worth killing 200,000 civilians for, so they did it… kinda like 9/11, just with a lot more women and kids.

It’s amazing that, even in the information age, a government can so successfully shape history and give its people such short memories. It’s particularly amazing (though quite sad for the rest of the world) that the US government can sweep such a long list of its own atrocities under the mats of its generally switched-on citizens.

Youv’e lost me dude, FOREVER. I will try my very hardest to never click on your link again. And I hope to never see your Avatar on my site either.

I hope the next time Al Qaeda attacks, and they can attack anywhere that does not believe in Islam, that they take out all the people who do not understand the true evil that they are.

They can attack Japan too. And anywhere in Europe as they have already done. England has a very big problem. Get your head out of the sand. Or die, because they very much want to kill you. They would absolutely LOVE to behead you. But I guess that is just fine with you.

People of the world were keep on wondering why the Twin Tower was collapsed last sept. 11, 2001. This is really a very interesting post.

Great post indeed. I remember watching a show that was aired in my country at the same day Twin Towers collapsed.

There was one guest in the studio, an architect, who claimed it is very unlikely that building will collapse in such manner just by airplane crashing at it. So the people in studio were almost sure there were some explosives planted in those buildings, but of course, at that time they could not know any more details about it.

From that day, the first day, I doubted about the truth about the 9/11.

I love how you pulled me in with the little thing about whether a tomato was a fruit or a vegetable. To tell you the truth, I wouldn’t even be interested in this post if it weren’t for the tomato blurb. Hehe… I don’t have enough time to read all of that stuff right now I’ll have to check it out later. =]
