About a month after starting Nice4Rice, I put Google Adsense on it on it for a few weeks but eventually pulled it off because so many of the ads were about cooking rice dishes!
However, internet marketing legend Jeremy Shoemaker, well-known for thinking out of the box and spotting opportunities that are oblivious to most people, might be making a fortune from shoe-shoppers who accidentally stumble upon his blog.
While I’m sure this is just an example of a poorly-targeted ad, I’ll take my chances and hope some lost curry chefs find what they need on Nice4Rice!

I am having the same problem with my adsense. I have tried writing more keywords into the post so it will direct the ads a little more and it seems to be working. At least I hope so…lol.
I am also having problems with my adsense…..
Ill try adding more keywords into the post to direct the ads,
I hope works!
!thanks!
Great title. I think you’ll get some good traffic because of it.
You know Chuck, I have so many blogs listed on my iGoogle page that it’s impossible to keep up. If the title gets my attention, I’ll click it, otherwise I won’t.
The problem is, you’ve got to balance “impact” titles with “keyword” titles. The latter will naturally get you more hits from the search engines.
Yeah, exactly. That’s why I said you’re gonna get the clicks here, right words with right meaning. Just keep them comin’.
I used to have the same problem. It’s Phishie! has so many ads about stupid Phish the Band. Ugh! It’s annoying. And now I’ve created a new site that goes by my real name, Gabriel Diaz, (I want to rank #1 in Google for my real name) I keep getting ads about Cameron Diaz… -_-
And your comment about impact vs. keyword titles. Yeh… you have to balance and know when it is better to go after a certain phrase or go after a shocking title. Keywords are better in the SEs obviously, but impact titles could do better in feed aggregators and such…

Gabriel Diaz

Luckily for me I don’t have any problem with my adsense.
You should try it again and use the exclude feature. When you see a non relevant advertisement, add it to the exclude URL’s in your Account and Google Will stop serving those non-relevant ads to you. I had to do the same with my blog.

One thing that is tough with google adsense is that if ads are regionally targeted, then you don’t really have a chance to see what google is putting up.
Nice Blog btw. I’m reading and reading and subscribing now !

Till now, I didn’t have a SINGLE problem with Adsense. Thanks for your COOL post! keep it up
Haha! Nice find, Spud. For a second I thought you’d managed to find a picture in shoemoney’s gallery of him actually wearing women’s shoes.
