You know those moments when you just finish something, lean back, stretch, yawn, and decide to check your stats for a few minutes? I do it all too often, and being signed up to so many programs, it can take a while to go through everything. Sometimes, you’ll see that you’ve made a sale, earned a nice bit of commission, had a good Adsense day, or got an email from somone special. Other times, you might have a day like mine…
When I check for new email I’m told there are “No new messages”. I open up Skype to see that none of my contacts are online. It may be daytime here in Japan, but the rest of world must be sleeping. Nevertheless, Text Link Ads wants to tell me that I don’t have any “alerts”, which I guess is a good thing…
Commission Junction reminds me that I haven’t earned a single cent all year…
That’s not surprising since I only joined last week, but Auction Ads is reporting I’ve earned a whopping $0.00 so far this week, and PayPerPost is apologizing for a lack of PPP Direct offers…
While the Internet goes out of its way to tell me I haven’t made money online, YouTube really hits below the belt with this message…

come on, cheer up. no email, not … even junks mail? man, you need to sign up a mailing list, okay, i’m just kidding here:P
The video is damn funny, i haven’t see that one before, but i love those japanese video that try to trick people with all kind of weird things, they really go all out!
Yeah, I was just having some fun. When I’m bored I check my email every ten minutes so I’m bound to get “no new messages” sometimes. I get zero spam since I switched from Thunderbird to Windows Mail. I set WM to just delete every suspected junk mail automatically, and no regrets so far.
Auction Ads is earning me a little, but that screenshot was taken at the beginning of the week. Adsense and Kontera weren’t showing zero so I couldn’t include them. I’m also owed by PayPerPost for some marketplace opportunities and Text Link Ads so they weren’t zero either. I just cracked up when I saw YouTube telling me I have no friends, so I had to grab some “no money” screenshots, too.
I’ll look around for more undiscovered Japanese videos. I’m lucky enough to able to search YouTube in Japanese, so I’m sure I’ll find something!
I’m subscribe to too many mailing list until I don’t have time to read email. Window Mail, what’s that? you mean outlook?
Anyway, I’m sure the figure will get better if you really start to monetize it. Your blog is just about 3-4 months old and have a lot of space to grown. I wouldn’t be surprise one day you are earning like darren, the problogger. Most blog will need a tipping point to really start make big money. And if you read “the dip” by seth, i think you are really on to something here:)
Windows Mail is the new version of Outlook Express. It comes with Vista.

Sigh! Those stats looks exactly like mine. I wake up to zero’s everyday haha but I guess I should spend less time worry and use it to do some more productive work.

It easy to make a friend. but to find really close friend is difficult. My social network have save hundreds of friends but not many of them become my close friend.
Yeah, there are days when you may feel nobody wishes to contact you. In those days, a funny video can be the solution to change your mood. However, I am pretty sure there are millions of people online waiting for communicating with you. I realize that, most of times, I have to send emails to potential friends to start a new friendship and not just to wait for them to write to me.
I was browsing the page all the way to the bottom but I couldn’t see any video..Anyways, having a tough day is not actually a surprised to everyone..We all have a rough days but at the end of it all there is always a brighter side of life..So just hang on there…
