From humble beginnings as a paper boy with a schoolyard crush on Melanie Collier, Richard T Cunningham, better known as RT, joined the U.S Marines, married a Jo, had two kids called Jo, retired, moved to the Philippines and began the Untwisted Vortex.
The Vortex, untwisted, is arguably worth $40,000 $268,000, and is home to almost 500 articles about everything and anything. If you’re interested in PHP and JavaScript, it’s there. If you’d rather argue the pros and cons of Windows Vista, you can. Or how about relaxing with RT’s gorgeous little sister? Feeling a bit turned on? You will be when you watch Pinays Playing with their Boobs.
Coming from a big family (he has four brothers and four sisters) you would expect RT to know how to share, and that’s exactly what he’s doing with his drive-bys…
I have found that promoting a small fraction of the more than 70 million blogs on the Internet gives me more satisfaction than all the visits I will ever receive on my own blog. The fact that some of my newest regular readers are reading my blog specifically because of my drive-bys is a fantastic side effect that I didn’t expect.
and his “scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” approach:
If you add my blog as a favorite on Technorati, I will add your blog. If you add my blog to your blogroll, I will add your blog. It’s that simple.
RT’s efforts haven’t gone unnoticed either. He’s had some glowing reviews, has risen into Technorati’s top 25,000, and at the time of writing is sitting just outside the Top 100 Most Favorited blogs.
While RT battles with the heat of Southeast asia and continues fighting his big belly (not helped by the fact he’s a member of PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals), he does get to rub elbows with celebrities and sing into his Wow MagicSing microphone!
Did I mention that I’m retired with almost nothing else to do with my idle hours? Just to make a point, I’m not over 50. It took cunning (no pun with my name please) and patience to get to the point where I really don’t have to work to survive.
So now that RT has endless hours to work on his blog, we have even more to look forward to. I will leave you with this classic moment of personal blogging from Untwisted Vortex:
I also don’t get dandruff anymore. More specifically, dandruff from dry scalp. I used to have to massage my scalp with baby oil once a week when I lived in Arizona, to prevent my dry scalp from flaking onto everything. Now, no oil and no dry scalp.

Interesting read. I think I’m going to be a regular visitor.
Do yourself a favour and become a regular reader of RT’s wisdom as I have. He posts regularly and always has something interesting to say.
Got hit by one of his DRIVE-BYs!
More power to RT’s Untwisted Vortex!
