I’ve been a regular reader of JohnChow.com since he exploited Digital Point with his Google Whores article, driving more rice to his site than a sumo wrestler could imagine. For the unintiated, ‘rice’ is a Spud Oregon term for ‘traffic’, and John Chow knows how to get traffic.
The name “John Chow” is becoming synonymous with the term “make money online“. Whereas the word “google” is often used to mean “search”, people will soon be using John’s name to mean “make money on the internet”…
I’ve gotta chow. If I were chowing, I could stop googling for jobs. Do you chow?
While the more recent “miscellaneous ramblings of a dot com mogul” are about making bucketloads of money, this wasn’t always the case. Some of my favorite ramblings include John’s attempt to lose weight by making protein shakes in a $500 Super Blender. Then there was John’s first real workout, and of course the time when his legs felt like noodles. Judging by the 30+ restaurants he’s visited in his Fine Dining category, I guess John has given up on his diet!
Chow maybe earning millions of billions of dollars every month now, but there was a time when he was feeling the pinch. Can anyone remember what the biggest killer of his online income was?
Now, the time has come to welcome John to Nice4Rice.com and, by reviewing his blog, give him the chance to take on the likes of Gary Lee and Saman Sadeghi in the “Rice Earners” rankings. If he’s nice for rice, he might even win the coveted Golden Rice Bowl!
Give some rice to John and get a free backlink!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Just watch…he’ll pull some evil voodoo and win. All he has to do is threaten a bunch of baby pandas and they’ll all vote…even if pandas don’t have the internet.
He’ll be the all-time top rice earner once asks his readers to give him rice!
Ha ha, I don’t think he needs to beg for rice, but can you imagine if 4,000 people all came here for a free backlink? All those little bowls of rice - like a pixel site!
They’ll come… you just wait!

Hey Spud, this is my first time visiting your site but it sounds like a really cool concept. I am going to write an article about it on my website The Great Q&A. I am currently hijacking my brother’s computer right now because my room is being torn apart and re-painted and re-plastered and re-windowed and re-anything you can think of so I’ll probably write the article in a couple of days because his computer chair is really killing my back! =[
Gosh my first post and I screwed it up. Your little code directions at the bottom are misleading. The Great Q&A there! Sorry but I just couldn’t sleep with the fact of knowing that I look like a noob. =[
No problem Phishie, I’ve tidied up your first comment. The little code directions are standard with the Brian’s Threaded Comments plugin. Sorry about that.
You site looks interesting. I’ve added a Get a Review page with info on how to get a review, and if you write about this site, you’ll almost certainly get one. In fact, The Great Q&A looks worth reviewing anyway!
Hey thanks a lot. Yeh I’ve been inactive a bit lately struggling with all kinds of different “work.” I just recently resurrected The Great Q&A and I hope to keep going at it. My goal is one article a day and I have plans to open it up to other publishers. But right now it’s just a baby and I am trying to get back into the crowd. The concept of my site is basic. Any time I think of something worth writing about, I put it in a question form and turn it into an entire article. hehe Of course a lot of it is to earn me some money. But it’s all legit and helpful information at the same time. =] I’m glad you are so supportive. I plan on revamping my personal life blog It’s Phishie! soon. I’m going to make it more focused on SEO and internet marketing and what not. I’ll be sure to put in a word for you on there also. =]
You did a good review of John’s blog. Actually it is one of the best. I also saw that he linked back to you. As 2 is better than 1, if you review my blog too (which has PR4), I’m going to link back to yours. You could always use an extra link, wouldn’t you?
All the best,
Simonne
JohnChow.com is not that interesting nowadays as the blog title is Make Money with John Chow but he often post unrelated content such his new car, computer or his travel experience.
Wow, and here I always thought John Chow was in the US. Your link to his US/CA exchange rate complaint proved me wrong!
I hear he made a lot of money from the blog.
