We could all do with a little humor in our feed reader, which is why I’ve subscribed to Nate is a Blog, a place where “panda bears can ride unicorns, but unicorns cannot ride panda bears”.
Follow Nate Smith on his quest to grow a mustache and make nature a more “exciting” place. Here’s a taster of what you are in for:
Solid financial advice:
Secured loans : Take out a loan from the bank, or maybe the local convenience store, or even your mom’s purse. The best way to make sure your loan is “secured” is to take out the loan without them knowing. This way you can be secure in the fact that you won’t have to pay them back. To really make sure the loan is secured, shoot all witnesses.
How to celebrate:
Also, people who are willing to dish out a good old fashioned high five are usually really out of practice. For instance, my Wife. Sorry honey, but you suck at high fives. If you ever gave me a good high five, we’d have to high five again in order to celebrate it, and you’d probably ruin the second one, and then that would negate the whole thing.
10 Reasons why I’ve been too busy to blog:
8. Expecting: My wife and I are trying to have a baby, and by that I mean we are walking around the mall looking for cute babies to steal.
Beef of Fish:
I was recently filling out a questionnaire and the essay prompt was “Beef of fish?” I think they meant “Beef or Fish?” But I took their question quite literally, and here is my answer…
You’re going to have to click that last link to find out which fish deserves the title “Beef of Fish”. But before you do that, let me leave you with a video of Nate playing with his new toy, the Autotape!
If he gets this excited about an automatic tape measure, imagine his reaction when he gets some automatic rice!

Nate’s site is great and I love his sense of humor. One of the radio shows I listen to on Sirius just concluded March-stashness as they grew the stash for the entire month. High Five!
If I keep finding blogs like this that I want to read I am going to have to quit my job.
Funny stuff. I think the ability to grow a mustache at will sounds like a great superpower.
Nate Smith is a comedic force to be reckoned with. I heard that he has a revolutionary two-man comedy show that is about to drop. If it comes to your city, you gotta check it out!
Yeah, c’mon Nate! Hope you come to Kakamigaharashi soon!
